So many pets here, they all need forever homes. Went to see about adopting a cat for my Fianceé, and got to play with a dog for a bit.
Best adoption process ever! I did some online searching and was directed to Blackford County Animal Shelter filled out the application online. Was contacted within a day that they were waiting on two of my referrals. Contacted again within the next day and on the third we were approved for our furry bundle of joy. Picked our new fur kitty up and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The entire process was so easy and the communication was good!! Our new kitty is home and adapting very well with us and his new environment! Please go adopt from here!! They are so sweet, nice and again the communication between the shelter and I went so well.

I drove from Detroit, Michigan on August 29th, 2009 to get my baby!!!! I want you to know how truly loved and spoiled she was!! The joy and love of my life! On March 4th, 2017....Mandy suffered a stroke. I remained hopeful for her to recover but two days later, she had fluid in her lungs. It was cancer. I had no choice.....so with a severely broken heart, I had to let her go over the Rainbow Bridge
